Red Velvet Mug Cake

This might be one of the easiest, delicious and FASTEST recipes I have ever made, oh and you can make this lovely dessert vegan!

It only takes one minute in the microwave and can serve one person, so it’ll help you with those self control issues!

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • ¾ tsp beet powder
  • ⅛ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ⅛ tsp white vinegar
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • Cacao chocolate chips (optional)
  • Non-Dairy whipped cream (optional)
  • Microwave safe mug

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all the ingredients (flour, sugar, cacao powder, beet powder, baking soda, vegetable oil, white vinegar, and cold water in a microwave safe mug.

Stir with a fork to make sure there are no lumps or dry flour. Sprinkle batter with cacao chips, if using, and then microwave for 1 minute.

Let mug cake stand 1 minute before consuming. ENJOY!

I love using my Superfat Keto Cookie bites as a little extra topping! They have tons of flavors but I use the Double Dark Chocolate Chips for these…So good!

That’s it! A super simple, delicious and healthy lil dessert! Remember, though this is healthier than most dessert, everything in moderation, so try to only stick to desserts once a week as a little treat but you’ll want to do this everyday lol.
