#25 | Turkey Day Origins

Since I decided to not eat Turkey (or any other meat for that matter), as you could imagine Thanksgiving is an interesting holiday for me to be celebrating. We made it work with some vegan entrees and some epic side dishes while everyone else took part in the consumption of a historical bird. But why is Turkey the “traditional food” for Thanksgiving anyway? Is this a worldwide tradition? More importantly, how did this thing start and should it keep going? We talk about that and many other topics after our Annual Harvest Festival (aka Thanksgiving).
